HeroPress Goes To Asia!
Last week Cate and I went to WordCamp Asia in Thailand, and had a GREAT time. Travel was about 24 hours each way, with our longest leg being Detroit to Seoul at 15 hours. We shared flights with our friends Allie and Nyasha and their respective husbands Greg and Shawn, which was fun. We didn’t sit near each other, so we often weren’t together, but it was nice knowing they were there. My part of the trip was paid for by hdc.dev, even though I don’t work there anymore, which was very generous of them.
Aside from this introduction, this post is going to be mostly a photo gallery, that’s where all the good stuff is. I do have to say that this camp was incredibly well run. Directions were easy to find and understand, language was not a barrier for me in any way, it was well laid out, the venue was great, everything was smooth. In fact, people complained that the lunch food on Day 2 was cold, so they pivoted overnight and had a hot buffet for lunch on Day 3, and pulled it off flawlessly. Superb.
I spoke about the successes of HeroPress. You can see my talk here:
