Quality attribution of content is very important. It lends credibility to your own content. Until recently footnotes in WordPress have been difficult to make, but starting with WordPress 6.3 it’s super simple. Here’s how.

Here’s how to use footnotes in WordPress. First find the place you want your footnote to appear and click there. Then in the bar up above click the little down arrow and choose footnote. That’ll skip you to the bottom of the page where you’ll type in the text that you want. And we’ll scroll back to the top and you’ll see there’s a little 1 there now. And we click update and view the page. And if I click the 1 it zips me to the bottom where my footnote is.
